Though there isn’t much going on in the live poker tournament scene in the UK and Ireland for the month of November but there are a few events taking place but they are going under the radar.
We highlight the best poker tournaments taking place this month.
The 2018 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) will make some noise in November. The GUKPT festival is currently taking place in Blackpool for its eighth leg. The poker festival started on Nov 4 and will run till Nov 11. The festival takes place at Grosvenor G Casino, with the £1,110 buy-in Main Event offering £200,000 in guaranteed prize pool.
After the Blackpool leg, the GUKPT Grand Final begins in the following week, with £400,000 up for grabs at the Main Event. A week after the Main Event, the GUKPT Grand Final will take place at London’s Poker Room formerly The Vic. This Main Event has a buy-in of £2,140. Players can also take part in a number of side events throughout the tournament.
There will also be three Grosvenor 25/25 Series events taking place this month with a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000. Each event costs £225 to enter and will take place at Grosvenor casinos located in Cardiff, Portsmouth and Bury New Road. The first two events will take place on Nov 14-18, while the last one is scheduled on Nov 29-Dec 2. Grosvenor will also hold satellites for the 25/25 Series events, the details of which can be found at the Grosvenor Poker website.
Other Events Scheduled for November
In addition to the GUKPT Festival, two massive tournaments are also set to take place in London and in Galway, Ireland. The PokerStars Live London Super Series will run on Nov 13-18 at the Hippodrome Casino in London where three Platinum Passes will be given out to the winners.

The PokerStars Megastack Galway festival takes place at the 4-star Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill, with the €170 buy-in Main Event offering €50,000 in guarantees. Live event seats are available at the PokerStars website.
Side events for November include the 2018 Genting Power Series Mini Leg 16 which starts on Nov 8 and runs till Nov 11 at the Genting Club Westcliff with a buy-in of £220 and a £35,000 GTD prize pool. The £170 buy-in London Deepstack runs from Nov 15-18 at the Poker Room in London.

Other live tournaments to watch out for during the month are the Unibet Open Dublin festival which is due to take place at The Bonnington in Dublin, as well as the 888poker LIVE London Festival at the Aspers Casino in Stratford. Both festivals have a €1,100 buy-in Main Event.
